There’s no mistaking a Living Portraits work of art; we’re often told that our dog portraits look like paintings. That’s because we faithfully capture your dog’s best features and unique personality, and then we reproduce them to the highest possible standards as exquisite prints and digital photographs.

How we achieve the perfect photographs

First, we use our substantial experience to engage with your dog in a way which lets us capture exactly who they are. We also work very quickly, before your dog can get bored or tired.

Then there’s the technical side. You’ll choose the location, but we’ll pick the perfect backdrops and lighting: we can transform any setting. Afterwards, we’ll use superior retouching techniques to perfect your dog’s photographs, creating a unique masterpiece with almost a 3D effect.

We photograph any dogs

Some dogs are nervous, some are excitable, some are just bonkers. We take them all in our stride, and capture the pictures you can’t. Thanks to our experience, we know the foibles of different dog breeds, from pedigree Chihuahuas and Great Danes to much-loved Rovers and Patches.

We’re happy to photograph family pets, service dogs, working sheepdogs, gun dogs, puppies for sale – we even have a photography package for dog breeders. We’ll photograph your dog on their own, with your other pets and also with the family, if you wish.
