Horse Photography

Living Portraits is renowned for our exceptional equine photography. Your beloved horse or pony may be more of a pet; maybe they’re retired and out to pasture; or perhaps you compete, event or hunt with your horse. Whoever they are, we’ll capture their beauty and unique character.

We are very successful with our horse photography for 3 key reasons. First, we set up the perfect shot: things like the pose, backdrop and lighting. Second, we work with your horse or pony to discover who they are so that we can reveal their personality through our photography. Third, we use high-end techniques and equipment to retouch your photographs, creating exquisite portraits with almost a 3D effect.

Where do you want us to photograph your horse?

We can photograph your horse in almost any setting, whether that’s in the field, the stable, or walking down a farm track. We’ll probably be able to get photographs with a variety of backgrounds; you might want us to photograph your horse perfectly groomed and standing elegantly in the yard, for example, before letting them frolic in a meadow full of buttercups!
